Turned on Auto...I lagged all the way back in Logar. Turned on Auto detail adjust and it helped my frame-rate immensely -- about 10 fps more. If you do, you'll notice when you zoom in/out that the character detail (models of players, npcs, mobs and horses) will vary depending on the zoom distance.
